This is a self-contained specialist unit for graduate students students in Finance. The unit focuses on two broad questions faced by corporate managers: What investment should the firm make? And how should it pay for those investments? Controversial issues including dividend payouts, optimal capital structure, costs and gains of mergers and acquisitions are also covered in details in this unit. The content of this unit is applied and quantitative and the approach is analytical.
