Legal research and reasoning. Policies of tort liability. Negligence - standard of care, duty of care. Specific situations, affirmative actions, physical damage, nervous shock, economic loss, negligent words, causation and remoteness, assessment of damages and defences, professional negligence, intentional infliction of purely economic loss. Defamation. Nuisance.
