The physiology of human systems with special emphasis on the gastrointestinal, renal, cardiovascular and immune systems. Gastrointestinal motility, secretion, digestion and absorption. Renal function and excretion. Acid base balance. Physiology of the cardiovascular system in health and disease. Diet and immunocompetence.
