This double major is designed for those seeking a career in finance who recognise the growing importance of the computing and communications based technologies that make up the so-called 'information superhighway'. As business becomes more global and thenature of organisations changes to capitalise on international opportunities, international commerce and trade is becoming increasingly reliant on electronic commerce technology. The banking and finance sectors in particular will embrace electronic commerce as electronic banking and investment services become the norm.
