307519 v.1 Viticultural Management Major



Introduction

This major combines agribusiness management and marketing education and training with technical training in principles of viticulture, grape and wine production and sensory evaluation. This course provides an opportunity to maximise Western Australia's competitive advantage by meeting the need for management and marketing skills education in the viticulture industry. This major provides generic skills in communication, information technology, teamwork and cross cultural skills in preparation for leadership roles within the viticultural industry as well as in the broader agribusiness sector. Graduates find employment with industries associated with the supply chain of the viticultural industry, including banks and positions as consultants and development officers.
