Introduction

This major offers a sequence of units in international affairs that prepares graduates for the fast-paced world of international relations. Selected topics include - international security, trade, economic and cultural globalisation as well as human rights, food, energies, public health, the natural environment, technological change, demographic issues, and ethics in international relations. It is designed for those aspiring to careers in government and private industry, foreign policy and defence, public service, international finance and management, journalism, media, teaching, and consulting as well as those intending to be informed about the changing and complex world in which we live.
