Introduction

This course is designed for managers, human resource professionals and consultants wanting to develop and expand knowledge and personal and professional skills to develop people currently working in complex and changing organisational climates in Australia and overseas.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

For entry into the first stage of the course - a degree in Information Systems, Commerce or Computer Science from a recognised Australian tertiary institution, or an equivalent qualification. For entry into the second stage of the course - a PostgraduateDiploma in Business (Information Systems) or appropriate honours degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Intermediate Awards

A student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Human Resource Management) may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School. For further definition refer to the Statement and Awards section under General Information.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
