Introduction

This course focuses on planning theory and policy formulation, evaluation and implementation, the professional and administrative role of the planner in the analysis, preparation, and presentation of plans, planning reports, and resource management issues.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A bachelors degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised institution.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee paying course is three semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Professional Recognition

Graduates are recognised by the Royal Australian Planning Institute as fulfilling the educational requirements for corporate membership.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
