Syllabus: A focus on becoming an independent designer. A selection of industry based briefs are provided and emphasis is placed on understanding, evaluating and resolving these briefs. All successful and innovative design is the result of a clearly defined brief, creative problem-solving, idea generation, competent visuals and correct design production. Interpretation and analysis of own work and that of others is encouraged through small group activities. A response to current developments occurring within design and its associated technology will be achieved.
