314489 v.1 Pharmacy First Year Stream (BSc - Health Sciences)

Introduction

This particular pathway is for students who may wish to study Pharmacy in the future and have not met the course pre-requisites. You will be eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Pharmacy if you achieve a course weighted average of 70 percent after completing this stream (200 credits). If you have not completed the equivalent of Mathematics 3A/3B, you need to study Mathematics 135 instead of Practice of Public Health 180. If you have not completed the equivalent of Chemistry 3A/3B you should study both Introduction to Chemistry 180 in first semester and Biological Chemistry 110 (instead of Pharmaceutical Chemistry 124) in second semester. If you are accepted as a course switcher into the Bachelor of Pharmacy and you have not undertaken the specific relevant first year units (due to required pre-requisites) you will be given the opportunity to do so and will study first year on a part-time basis.
