Introduction

This double major is designed for those who wish to become professional accountants and to specialise in legal matters associated with the profession. It requires study in a number of areas of accounting, auditing, taxation and business law. This double major is recognised as being acceptable for membership of CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA). It is recognised as being acceptable for Associate membership of CPA Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and entry to the ICAA graduate program.
