Introduction

The Postgraduate Diploma in Chemistry develops a more critical and problem-solving approach to the professional practice of chemistry than is possible to achieve in a first qualification. Presently there is a definite need for professional chemists with such qualifications. The course forms a basis for the professional development of experts able to cope with sophisticated research and development problems in industry.
