Introduction

Designed for graduates working or seeking to work in a field that requires specialised knowledge in accounting. This course enhances knowledge and skills in accounting and related aspects of financial management and business law, in order to equip students for a career in professional accounting and related fields in Australia and internationally.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A bachelor degree, excluding accounting majors, from a recognised tertiary institution or an equivalent academic qualification and experience.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

The course is three semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Intermediate Awards 1

A student who has successfully completed the requirements of an approved intermediate award may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of Head of School/Department. Fees apply. Intermediate award(s) approved for this course are:

Professional Recognition

The course is designed to meet the educational requirements for membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and CPA Australia.
