Syllabus: Japanese language study at Upper-Intermediate 2 level. The concept of politeness is further discussed and researched. Introduction to authentic materials for listening and reading, in particular, newspapers, radio and television news. Further Kanji isintroduced. Survey research skills are developed. Not available to students whose first language is Japanese.
