AND
Syllabus: Using a systems approach: analyse care related to complex health needs; Critical reasoning. Neurological (Glasgow coma score). Respiratory (ventilation, chest drains, underwater seal drainage). Haemodynamics (advanced life support, electrocardiogram, central venous management). Advanced pressure techniques.Psychological crisis. Interventions with clients with symptoms of severe mental illness. Including; Hypomanic behaviour; hallucinations; delusions; thoughts of self harming. Communication with the health care team.
