Syllabus: This unit provides students with clinical experience and application of theory to practice for nurses seeking a specialisation in the area of mental health nursing. Application of the following to clinical practice: nursing concepts, evidence based knowledge and skills related to mental health care, collaboration and teamwork, reflective practice, professional standards of practice and demonstration of mental health nursing competences.
