Syllabus: Introduction to marketing of equine, food and fibre for farmers and agribusinesses associated with agriculture and equine industries. Topics include: marketing environment, consumer behaviour, business to business marketing, market segmentation, market research, strategic marketing, product/service mix strategies, new agricultural product/service innovations, pricing strategies, supply chain management, promotion and personal selling strategies. Students choose an agribusiness industry and company to study.
