Introduction

This honours course extends knowledge of current academic research methodology as it is applied in the field of health sciences, further demonstrated through the conduct of a supervised research project and the preparation of an honours dissertation.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Refer to the Admission into Honours Degree Programs and Regulations for Honours Degrees in the General Information section of the Curtin Courses Handbook. Only students with outstanding performance in undergraduate study will be considered for entry to the honours program. Students intending to apply for entry must have achieved a minimum course weighted average of at least 65 per cent or higher. Some majors will require that the candidate has a relevant undergraduate degree. Candidates should inform the course coordinator of an intention to apply for entry to the honours program.

This course is one year full-time study or equivalent part-time study.
